Dixieland Delight

While sneaking in some last minute Christmas shopping earlier in the holiday break, I ran across this plaid suit and fell head over heels. I can agree that the idea of wearing an outfit comprised almost entirely of plaid can seem a bit ridiculous, but it being designed in a classic way, like a tailored suit, makes it, in my opinion, the utter definition of cool. I paired it with a vintage Alabama t-shirt (gotta represent the hometown/home state). I like the touch of contradiction the worn-in tee with the polished suit adds to the look. The boots were a fun way to add another print to the look. Plus, they really make the bag pop against the plaid backdrop.
