I hope you all had a really great Christmas. I realize this post is coming quite late, but I have loved every second of lying around the house with the family, watching movies, drinking hot chocolate, basically doing nothing this entire break, that I couldn't seem to bring myself to sit on the computer and compose this post, until now. This Christmas, I guess you could say, Santa was a very good friend of mine. He was kind enough to bring me the most beautiful brocade coat and the prettiest pair of velvet pants from Free People, both of which I have been eyeing for quite sometime. If you happen to fall in love with them, and can't seem to picture your life without them, like I did, check out their links here -> Free People Brocade Coat & Free People Burnout Velvet Pleat Pant. Oh, and P.S., the coat's on sale now. Santa also left a great vintage velvet tailcoat, which I mentioned in my Christmas Day outfit post. To top it off, I received some exceptionally breathtaking pieces of antique furniture and bedding for my future home. It doesn't hurt to have a mom who's particularly gifted when it comes to interior design. Also, as you can see, the Big Man left Matilda some cute and furry little toys, which she immediately loved. I believe I was more excited about her opening her toys, than I was about my own gifts. What can I say, I'm a dog lover. Anyway, I hope you all had a very merry Christmas, and I hope you all have an incredible 2014.
